Cedar City Music Arts is 80 years old this season! Oak is the traditional gift for an 80th year anniversary. What rich and appropriate comparisons this brings to mind. The oak tree is the king of strength and the giver of shade and comfort. Our series has come to mean these things to the people of our community. For 80 years the musical masters brought to Cedar City have delivered countless edifying moments to our audiences.

The 2008-09 “Virtuoso Series” spans the musical spectrum from Symphony to Broadway favorites, a Broadway musical to a boy’s choir, and a string quartet to a piano and brass ensemble. Certainly there is something to appeal to any musical taste and many will take advantage of every concert evening out!

What a spectacular season is in store for CCMA enthusiasts! All concerts begin at 7:30 and will be held on stage at the Heritage Theater. Again, we offer the amazing season ticket price of $70. Tickets can be purchased from ticket sellers, from the Heritage Theater Box Office and at select retail locations in town.

These seven highly recommended musical concerts feature performers who constantly work to remain at the pinnacle of their craft. They continually experiment, investigate and maintain their level of virtuosity, which is of the highest caliber in the world.
