To end our 81st season, CCMA gifts the community with duo pianists and sisters, Yuki and Tomoko Mack. The Steinway artists will have produced four CDs which include a diverse repertoire of one-piano and two-piano works, by the time they perform for our audiences. Both of the Macks studied with Brazilian pianist, Flavio Varani and the late Joyce Adelson at Oakland University in Rochester, Mich., and Louis Nagel at the University of Michigan. They have been described as "suave and authoritative" (Detroit Free Press), "Duo pianists extraordinaire" (Gilmore International Keyboard Festival) with an "exciting choice of repertoire played with flawless technique and fire..." (Music and Dance Press/Tokyo, Japan). Winding down with the Mack Duo is the perfect way to decrescendo into summer.
